Dr. Sankriti Ananthamurthy, is rooted in building trust, easing fears, and creating positive memories for children and their families. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry in India, and right on cue, her niece arrived with a toothless grin that made pediatric dentistry impossible to resist. That grin set her on the path to a Master’s degree in Pediatric Dentistry and later to advanced training at the University of British Columbia and BC Children’s Hospital, where she became Chief Resident. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Dr. Simran attended the University of British Columbia, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology with Distinction and Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.). While at UBC, she took on an active role in academics, research and leadership. She graduated with the highest number of awards in her class, including all Pediatric Dentistry awards and the prestigious Nancy Scott Memorial Award for Outstanding Patient Care.
