Dr. Sankriti Ananthamurthy, is rooted in building trust, easing fears, and creating positive memories for children and their families. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry in India, and right on cue, her niece arrived with a toothless grin that made pediatric dentistry impossible to resist. That grin set her on the path to a Master’s degree in Pediatric Dentistry and later to advanced training at the University of British Columbia and BC Children’s Hospital, where she became Chief Resident. She is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
Dr. Ananthamurthy has extensive experience caring for children with special health care needs and complex medical conditions. She is dedicated to creating a supportive, individualized experience for every child, and she believes that dentistry works best when families feel informed, included, and genuinely cared for. Her approach blends clinical excellence with a joyful, child‑centered atmosphere that encourages confidence and comfort.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Ananthamurthy is an avid runner who has completed multiple marathons. Her love for dogs has led her to volunteer as a rescue and foster caregiver, reflecting her patient and nurturing nature. She brings her love of singing and dancing into her work — so don’t be surprised if a brushing song or sugar‑bug remix makes an appearance.
